rape of the sabine women

62) The Rape of the Sabine Women
Egg tempra on board, 15 1/2" x 12", 2010
This painting was done with egg tempera and marble dust on pine board wrapped in cotton and secured with rabbit glue. It was executed in the original 14th century  renaissance technique.

I painted this work during my studies at the Instituto de Michelangelo in Florence, Italy.
