Mount Shasta (Karuk: Uytaahkoo or White Mountain) is a potentially active volcano at the southern end of the Cascade mountain range in Siskiyou County California. Its elevation of 14,867 feet makes it the second highest peak in the Cascades. It is also the most voluminous Stratovolcano in the Cascade volcanic arc.
